About

Casey & KellyMy two wonderful dogs (Casey & Kelly) inspired me to create this website on the hopes of helping others find information on how to train their puppies. Casey, my 16 year old Dalmatian was put to sleep in July 2008 after giving me many years of happiness, fun, and enjoyment. I hope I gave her the same. Kelly, my 6 year old Chocolate Lab is still with me and my Best Friend. I could not have been so lucky to have two wonderful fun loving dogs in my life. Were there trying periods through their growth process? Absolutely!

There were times through the training and growing process we had some bad experiences but I believe that was my fault for not paying closer attention to their training process. But then again the puppy was BAD! I say that with a smile.

How do you get a puppy to sit? What is the best way to get a puppy to stay? Tell me how do you housebreak a puppy? These are all legitimate questions that we puppy and dog owners have asked at one time or another right after acquiring our best friend.

Everyone is in the same boat once they acquire a new puppy wondering how do they train this little bouncing off the walls furry thing. Here at SitSpotSit.com we aim to help those new puppy owners find puppy training tips, tricks, and advice on training a new puppy. We love our dog’s and only want what’s best for our little four-legged friends.

Training a puppy is an important part of dog ownership from socializing your puppy with others to teaching your dog to not jump on people. Your puppy is eager to please and wants nothing more than to make you happy. However, we as dog owners have a responsibility to provide shelter, a proper diet, and help the puppy become a well trained dog for a happy life with you and your family.

SitSpotSit.com has gathered together various materials for the new puppy owner to make training your puppy much easier. You can read the puppy training articles, watch training videos from expert dog trainers, and also pick up recommended puppy products for your new puppy. There is something for everyone.

I hope you enjoy this site and enjoy dog ownership. Good luck in your puppy training experience. Trust me it is an experience.
